iPhone 6 Awaiting iOS 8 Cue Only?

We have heard that Apple could launch the Apple iPhone 6 in September this year. Information says that it could be around the same time when Apple launches iOS 8. This is not going to happen for some time yet of course, but we are already hearing some predictions about what we could see when the handset is launched.

It has been said that the device will not have many design changes but that it will arrive with improved and new functions.

We have heard that Apple Maps could be mass transit friendly. Apple Maps didn’t go down too well when it arrived on the scene and iOS was slammed. Apple has now worked on Maps to restore their reputation. Recent reports have suggested that iOS 8 could come with mass transit directions from such as BroadMap, HopStop and Embark.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a health monitor and so we could see something similar when the next iPhone is launched. It has been said that we could see a fitness focused health book in iOS 8. This would have a similar look to the Passbook. Users would be able to monitor blood pressure, nutrition, sugar levels, sleep and weight.

Apple recently launched the iTunes Radio and there could be an app to compete with Spotify and Pandora, so owners would not have to use the music function. It could offer a list of featured stations and provide free music for users of the iPhone.

A Preview and TextEdit app would allow users to see files that are synched with iCloud. This would offer a more accurate way for users to save photos and email documents.

Analysts believe that Apple will launch iOS 8 with the iPhone 6 and it could have some of the features above.
