The Apple iPhone 5S is undoubtedly one of the best smartphones in history. Even after the arrival of the iPhone 6, the iPhone 5S is still too costly to own but those that can afford it will surely enjoy the device’s offerings. On the other hand, consumers can purchase the Xiaomi Mi 3. Here’s why.
Aside from being much cheaper than the iPhone 5S, the Xiaomi Mi 3 comes with a large 5” display that offers 441ppi. This is about 35% sharper than the iPhone 5S 4” screen that only has 326ppi to offer.
Despite being larger, the Mi 3 can also last longer thank to its large 3,050mAh battery. The iPhone 5S is very limited due to the small 1,570mAh battery that comes with it.
When it comes to speed, the Mi 3 is also faster as it runs on the 2.3GHz 4-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330GPU. The iPhone 5S is powered by the 1.3GHz 2-core A7 processor with 1GB of RAM and PowerVR G6430 GPU.
Even on cameras, the Mi 3 has more to offer from its sharper 13MP rear and 2MP front shooters. The iPhone 5S is equipped with a smaller 8MP rear and 1.2MP front cameras.
Judging from the specs above, clearly the Xiaomi Mi 3 is more appealing than the iPhone 5S. Then again, the latter has more internal storage space to offer and better system to hardware integration thanks to the iOS platform. However, the Mi 3 is still more desirable due to its cheap price tag.
