In terms of design, there is no arguing the fact that the HTC One M8 is the best looking smartphone in the market. The iPhone 5s is second best as it maintains the premium simplicity look by Apple. Far behind is the Samsung Galaxy S5 which is simply ugly and feels cheap.
Despite that fact, the Galaxy S5 takes productivity to a whole new level as it introduces a smart keyboard system that is able to identify different apps like Twitter, Facebook or WhatsApp. Heck, it even offers swipe typing and next-word prediction which is really handy.
The One M8 is also great in terms of functions as the Sense 6 UI is enough to handle every day task. There is also the BlinkFeed which helps customize the interface of the device.
Sadly to say, the iPhone 5s is still behind as everything in the iOS is somewhat fixed and the keyboard is recycled with every generation of iPhone.
The next segment is the camera function. The Galaxy S5 boasts a whopping 16MP rear shooter, which is twice more to that of the iPhone 5s. On top of that, the former produces 158.4% colour gamut, which is more than the 98.4% on the latter. The HTC One M8 remained small in pixel count but the Ultrapixel feature made it the king of low-light images.
All three devices are great in their own way. However, the Samsung Galaxy S5 rules the pack as it takes productivity to a whole new level. Of course, both the iPhone 5s and the HTC One M8 are not far off.
