The sensors of the Apple iPhone 5S were reading at different angles to how the device was being held. When other devices were laid flat on a counter top for instance, they would have a near level reading. However the iPhone 5S was off by about 2 or 3 degrees and this made some gamers feel as though they were playing games drunk.
There hasn’t been any official word from Apple about the issue; however it is thought that the problem came around after changing at the last minute to a different sensor module which came by way of a new supplier. Owners of the iPhone 5S should not worry though as this issue can be rectified very easily with a software update. It is thought that iOS 7.0.3 could do this. Once you have made the update the accuracy of the iPhone 5S should be better.
But it seems that the OTA update is only being sent out to some owners of the iPhone 5S. it could be a failure of the servers of Apple to accommodate all owners who want to update and the OS X 10.9, which came out at the same time with iOS 7.0.3. If you are having issues making the update you may wish to try updating through iTunes.
Along with the sensor fix it is thought that iOS 7.0/3 could fix the issue with iMessage, restore profiles. Integrate keychain and filters on the iPad.
