A month ago, Evad3rs confirmed that they won’t be entertaining the iOS 7.1.1. In other words, the jailbreak developer will not create the untethered iOS 7.1.1. Instead, Evad3rs revealed that they are looking forward to cracking the iOS 8.
Just last week, Apple launched the latter and Evad3rs have been at the development table ever since. For those that have been hoping for the untethered iOS 7.1.1, there isn’t any hope for a jailbreak until the untethered iOS 8 gets released.
This is unless they are using Apple’s fourth generation devices like the iPhone 4, 4S, iPod Touch and the first generation iPad. After all, another jailbreak developer that goes by the name of Winocm has already created the jailbreak which is compatible with the stated devices.
Winocm revealed that he is able to create the jailbreak with ease, due to the devices’ processor which is the A4 chipset. The hardware is already been hacked, which allow hackers to take full control of it.
