The Apple iOS 7 is the latest platform which comes with a jailbreak and soon, a jailbreak for the recently released iOS 8 will roll out. This has caused the fans to wonder on if there will be an iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak coming?
The answer to that is no. Jailbreak chief developer, Evad3rs, made it clear that they won’t be entertaining the iOS 7.1.1 and prefers to jump straight to the iOS 8. On the other hand, there is Winocm that actually created the untethered iOS 7.1.1 for the iPhone users.
Unfortunately, the iOS 7.1.1 in question is built for the iPhone 4 only. This is due to the fact that the iPhone 4 runs on the Apple A4 chipset that has already been infiltrated by the jailbreak society. This made things easy for Winocm. Anything newer than the iPhone 4, will not be getting the iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak due to the enhanced security on their processor.
Apple iPhone 5 or 5S users running on the iOS 7.1.1 that are desperate for a jailbreak should remain calm and wait for Evad3rs to launch the Evasi0n for iOS 8. We can expect that to happen before the year ends.
