Two of the must have small tablets on the market right now are the Apple iPad Mini and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
The Apple iPad Mini offers a tablet designed with an aluminium and glass body. The size is minimalistic with the bezel around the display being small and the tablet is thin. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has a plastic look and it isn’t the most solid.
One of the best displays is found on the Apple iPad Mini. It is 7.9 inches and has a resolution of 1024 x 768p. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 offers a larger display at 8 inches. The Note 8 is perfect for those who work and who also want to play. Both of the tablets come with colours that are very vibrant and which stand out with crisp images.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has the Exynos quad core processor along with 2GB of RAM. The Apple iPad Mini offers a dual core processor with 512MB of RAM. It has iOS 7 and this means there are more than 300,000 apps to choose from. There is support for Apple TV and you can connect it without wires to your HDTV through Airplay. The Note 8 comes with Android 4.1.2 and this means it offers such as Gmail, Chrome, Maps, YouTube and many apps of Samsung.
There is a camera of 5MP on both the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the Apple iPad Mini. The iPad Mini also comes with a camera of 1.2MP on the front and the Note 8 has a camera of 1.3MP on the front. You should be able to get about 11 hours from the Apple iPad Mini and this is about the same as what you would get on the Note 8.
You would have to pay out around $300 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the Apple iPad Mini comes in at about $330. Of course there is no perfect tablet that would suit the needs of everyone; it comes down to what you want out of a tablet and how much you want to spend.
