The Google Nexus 10 is one of the best tablets around. However, it is of age now as fans are demanding for a successor. As we wait for more news on the Nexus 10 2, let’s see how the old Nexus 10 compares with the Apple iPad Air.
In terms of display, there isn’t much of a difference in size. Samsung equipped the Nexus 10 with a 10” screen that offers 299ppi. The iPad Air’s screen is slightly smaller. Measuring at 9.7”, the iPad’s retina display can only produce 264ppi.
Under the hood, both devices are equipped with a dual-core processor. However, the Nexus 10 is able to offer more speed as its processor is clocked at 1.7GHz. This is accompanied with a 2GB RAM. The iPad Air’s processor is clocked at only 1.3GHz and it is equipped with 1GB RAM.
Both devices have the same 5MP rear camera, 16GB storage and 9hrs of battery life.
Obviously, the Nexus 10 is the better choice. It sealed the deal when the price tag came out to be half of the iPad Air. Then again, the latter is super thin and light which makes it a convenient.
