The battery life issues seem to be caused by the iOS 7 and not by some hardware problem. For those who made the iOS 6 backup with you iTunes, you can backup your data and revert back to the iOS 6, after that, reinstall the iOS 7 update. But this time you should make a clean installation of the update. When restoring your apps, be selective to make sure that you didn’t install the ones that would drain your battery. That would also help fix the battery drain problem.
