The UK gaming charts have just been updated again and in just a week, there is a tremendous amount of change. Last week alone, Titanfall got released and it was a chart topper. Now, the FPS game has fallen through the ranks.
A new title has taken the number one spot and it is the PlayStation-exclusive, inFamous: Second Son. It is the second biggest debut for a PlayStation-exclusive title, right behind the record breaking Killzone: Shadow Fall. This latest game also manages to beat the likes of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes.
It looks like the hype for Titanfall is dying rather quickly. Looking at the game’s performance in its second week, sales fell by 73%. It seems that console owners are not rushing to purchasing the game.
As for inFamous Second Son, it is unknown on if the same will happen in the second week. Analysts predict that it will follow a similar sales pattern with Titanfall.
On the other hand, there is the fact that there are more PS4 sold compared to the Xbox One. If the number of consoles is on equal footing, there won’t be much of a margin between the two games. Nevertheless, gamers can refer to the two UK charts below.
