Incomplete iPhone 6 Has Fans Wanting More

The problem with mega corporations is that they will never be at ease when average consumers use their products to make tons of money. This was the case for Apple when an iPhone 6 was spotted selling at eBay for $100K.

The seller, known as Alex, advertised the product as an iPhone 6 prototype, prior before the actual device got released. However, the popularity of the ad skyrocketed and it saw the price tag reaching $100K.

Unfortunately for Alex, the ad was removed mysteriously. Apple then revealed some time later that the iPhone 6 listed on eBay is not a prototype but more of an unfinished product that got lost in shipment.

Alex revealed that he was contacted by Apple and was informed that the device being sold does not have iOS8 running on it, has a red charging port and has no FCC writing on the rear of the device. Alex added that Apple offered him a one-to-one exchange for the unfinished product with a finished iPhone 6.

The importance of the unfinished device has led Alex to snub the offer and re-advertise the smartphone on eBay. The bid has reached $10K now. While it might not be as much as the previous $100K mark, the earnings is still more than what is offered by Apple.
