Imagine an aircraft that has transformed itself into a vehicle. This is what Hyundai aims to do after unveiling the all-new Intrado Concept. The name itself comes from a core instrument under an aircraft wing which creates lift.
Something that important requires precision in its manufacturing and it is what the Intrado is built for. Hyundai revealed that the futuristic SUV will be super lightweight and efficient at the same time. Furthermore, the SUV will take into account the best aerodynamics measurement for the SUV.
The Intrado will be built on a new architecture that will feature the above while also improving crash performance and repair times. The steel panels are attached to a carbon fibre frame structure and it will change the way cars are made in the future.
Under the hood, the Intrado will be powered with a next-gen hydrogen fuel-cell powertrain that uses a Li-ion 36 kWh battery. In total, the Intrado can cover a range of 600km before needing refuelling that can be completed in matter of minutes. There won’t be any carbon emission as the SUV will only emit water.
In short, the Intrado is everything the world has ever dreamed of. With Hyundai’s R&D department hard at work to accomplish this dream, it won’t be long before the Intrado enter production.
