Just last week, we saw how Toyota is going to change the world of transportation by unveiling the U2 urban utility van. Now, the future of commercial vehicle looks brighter after Hyundai unveiled the H350.
The huge van took the stage at the recent IAA and will be focused on the European market. Hyundai claims that the H350 is able to accommodate high load volume, offer ergonomics while being reasonably priced. Also, the van is built with efficiency, value, loading capacity, safety, reliability and performance in mind.
On the outside, the H350 looks like an oversized family van. It even sport some design cues from the Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. This is not surprising as Hyundai wishes for the H350 to deliver drivers car-like characteristics and high levels of refinement.
In detail the H350 is capable of accommodating 1.4 tonnes of cargo and also have the power to tow trailers of up to 2.5 tonnes. This is possible thanks to the van’s huge cargo measurement of 1,955mm high, 1,795mm wide and 3,780mm long.
The H350 operates on the RWD system and is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel CRDI engine that offers two different tunings. One is the 150PS (148hp) at 373Nm (275lb-ft) of torque and the other is the 170PS (168hp) at 422Nm (311lb-ft) of torque.
While both engines might differ to each other, they will still be paired to a six-speed manual transmission and meet Euro5 emissions regulations. Those who cannot get enough of the H350 can look forward to seeing the car again in the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
