It is unsure what HTC is thinking but the rumours are pointing out that the Taiwanese-based tech manufacturer is planning to release the One M8S. What is bizarre about this is that the One M8S will be slotted in between the old One M8 and the new One M9.
It is said to be a cheaper alternative to the One M9 but better than the One M8. If so, then clearly there must be some sort of internal problems within HTC.
After all, the point of the One M9 is to replace the One M8 but it ended up looking exactly like its predecessor. Above that, there is the One M8S that is based on the original One M8. We are now wondering if HTC really requires the One M8S at all.
The upcoming device will have all the same specs as the One M8 except for the processor which has been upgraded to the Snapdragon 615. Also, there is a larger 2840mAh battery in place.
Even when the above is based on rumours, we won’t be surprised if HTC is to proceed with the One M8S. Every year, HTC made a bad decision and this year, it will the One M8S.
