Apparently, HTC would be making heads turned as the Taiwanese smartphone maker plans to release two phone models next year, in hopes of reviving their market value. There will be a change in the launching calendar of HTC next year, as plans to release the HTC One X9 would be in February or March 2016, and the flagship model HTC One M10 would most likely be launched in May or June next year.
HTC also has plans to resuscitate its flagship brand after the dismal showing of the HTC One M9, following its launching in March this year. Due to the minimal upgrade from its predecessor from last year, the HTC One M9 suffered the same fate of that of Samsung Galaxy S5 last year. Seems as though these brands would only suffer even more loss if they were to follow the other’s footsteps.
Though there are still many fans of HTC that are actually hoping that the HTC One M10 will make a great turnover for the company, it sure looks like HTC has learned its lesson about launching a flagship smartphone. Till then, let’s just hope for the revival of this brand to becoming one of the world’s best smartphone makers again.
