HTC One M9 Specs: 2K Resolution, 3GB RAM, 5.2-inch Display & Other Speculations

The release of the Apple iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has set the rumour mill in motion for the future iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. However, the smartphone battle is never always about Apple and Samsung. Now, the buzz is on HTC One M9 which is expected to arrive next year.

New rumours suggest that the HTC One M9 will be unveiled at MWC, happening in Barcelona. Unlike its predecessor, the One M9 is going to have a larger 5.2” screen that runs at 1440x2560p resolution. This would mean that there is a whopping 441ppi operating on the display.

Also, the One M9 is said to be as beautiful as its predecessors. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the One M9 will have support for microSD of up to 128GB.

The HTC One M9 will come with Android 5.0 out of the box, a larger battery capacity, higher resolution cameras and IP certifications that are better than IPx3.

While some of the rumoured specs above make sense, it is still best to take it with a pinch of salt. For all we know, HTC claims that the One M9 will be the company’s biggest turnaround in history. Perhaps, there is much more to come with the One M9.
