The HTC One M9 might not be the most interesting smartphone in the market right now but that does not mean it is a bad device to own. However, for those planning to purchase a long-term device, then in it is best for you to stay away from the One M9.
This is because of HTC’s support. Here in the US, HTC support centres are not found on every street corner and it can be a hassle to repair the One M9 whenever things start to breakdown.
A HTC user revealed on Reddit that HTC’s support is the worst he has ever experienced. The lad shared that he lives in a remote area hence he can’t go and send his device for repair. As such, the user sent his device via postage to get it fixed. Unfortunately for the fellow, HTC took a whole week to fix his broken device before losing it when sending it back to the user.
Yes, the courier service is not owned by HTC. To make things worse, the postage was not insured at all. After various complaints filed on the matter, HTC will only return $100 as compensation.
This is a big piece of evidence that shows how bad HTC’s support is. It simply goes to say that the One M9 is not a long-term solution for consumers, especially when things start to go wrong.
