In about a month from now, HTC will be launching the all-new One M9. Following that, rumours are claiming that HTC will be looking to launch a brand new One M8.
Better known as the One M8i, the smartphone is not a successor to the flagship device from last year but will instead be an upper mid-tier model. Like how the HTC One E8 was, the One M8i will be a cheap alternative to the One M9.
The rumours revealed that the One M9 will feature a 5” screen that runs at 1080p. It will be powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Since the M8i shares a lot of similarities with the old M8, HTC is said to be taking this opportunity to introduce better cameras with the device. The M8i is expected to feature 13MP/2MP duo-rear camera and a 5MP front camera when released.
