Yesterday, Google demonstrated the Android 5.0 Lollipop on its I/O Conference and it wowed the world. For HTC, it is an opportunity to show the world why they are the brand to go for.
The Taiwanese company was quick to reveal their roadmap for the Lollipop update. With reference to the HTC Advantage program, the manufacture aims at updating the HTC One M8 first before going to other devices.
The list includes the HTC One M7 and the newly released, One E8. HTC further added that they will perform the update within 90 days after Google pass the final software to them. Once the company has obtained the Android 5.0, the updating wheel will be set in motion.
While it might be too early to makes such an announcement, HTC users are hoping that the company deliver their promise. They have had a rocky update with the KitKat and hope that the past don’t repeat itself.
As for other smartphone manufacturers, they have yet to reveal their plans for the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
