It seems that not everyone is happy with the HTC One M8 and one person has gone so far as telling buyers that they should be aware of poor build quality of the handset. They said that their HTC One M7 is now useless after just 14 months light use.
The owner said that they were enticed into buying it as the device looked sleek and elegant thanks to the back panel of aluminium. However in actual fact they said that it was low quality. They pointed out that the speaker holes are misaligned and there were gaps in the panel at bottom and top. The display wasn’t made flush with the surface of the phone.
They went on to say that they had talked with a representative more than once, who said not to worry. But then after 14 months of using the phone they found that the handset just dies after using it for around 15 seconds. The adhesive that holds the display to the body of the phone has come unstuck, resulting in a gap.
Thanks to all these issues the owner said that they would not recommend the device and instead would recommend people went for the LG G3, iPhone 5S or Samsung Galaxy S5.
So it seems that while many people do like the HTC One, there is at least one person out there who is very disappointed with their handset.
