Last November, Google launched the Android 5.0 Lollipop but the OS is still pending to arrive on older smartphones. Today, XDA stole the headlines when the launched the Liquid Smooth ROM and it is built specifically to update the HTC One M7 to the latest Lollipop.
As such, HTC One M7 users can already head down to XDA’s website and apply the LS ROM on their smartphone. Upon doing so the One M7 will find itself being powered by the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS.
Of course, One M7 users should note that the LS ROM is still in its early build so there is bound to be issues with it. Regardless, XDA has already promised that they will update the LS ROM accordingly to ensure that the Lollipop is free of errors.
So if you are a HTC One M7 user, there is no need to worry when it comes to applying an update from XDA. Just make sure that the device has 80% battery life left prior to the process to ensure no disruption.
