The HTC One M7 is one of the most popular smartphones from 2013 and this explains why there are still many One M7 users around. Unfortunately however, HTC has yet to launch the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the device.
Well, users don’t have to rely on HTC any longer as they can already acquire the Lollipop OS at XDA. A senior developer at XDA had just launched the LS ROM which contains the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS earlier this month and it is free of issues.
The downside to this is that the LS ROM can only be installed manually and doing so will rid the One M7 off its warranty. If you are a One M7 user and is content with the risk involved, then you are highly encouraged to install the LS Rom on the One M7.
All you have to do is head over to XDA and download the LS ROM. There, you will also find a thoroughly detailed installation guide which is also easy to follow. Just make sure you have done a backup of all your files and folders before proceeding.
