The release date for the HTC One is coming ever closers and this means that we are seeing the price tag of the HTC One going down.
HTC America revealed that the price tag of the HTC One is now $499.99 over in stores within the USA, which means savings of $100. Carrier deals have also been seen and discounts mean that you can pick up the handset for $0.01 with a contract of two years.
However some people have been hanging on waiting for the arrival of the HTC One 2, which is on its way. It is thought that the device will comes in at around $650. There are some who may wait for the arrival of the new handset before then choosing whether to take the deal on the older device.
Rumoured specs of the HTC One 2 suggest that we could see a display of 1080p at 5 inches, a battery of 2600mAh and a Snapdragon 801 2.3Ghz processor.
Droid Life also talked about some of the features and specs of the HTC One and as mentioned the sales guide which had leaked, which tells people how to use some of the new features of the HTC One.
New features of the HTC One are said to include BoomSound, BlinkFeed and the HTC One Duo camera. When it comes to dual cameras the guide provides users with a great idea about how to adjust focus once the photo has been taken. This is something that is similar to that of the Lytro camera.
HTC have already begun to roll out KitKat 4.4 for older HTC devices and it is thought that the flagship handset will come with KitKat 4.4.2 when it arrives. There is also the possibility that the HTC One 2 will have a fingerprint scanner as the HTC One Max offered one.
The HTC One 2 will be unveiled on 25 March; however we have already seen covers for the handset, which gives us some idea about the design.
