Like how it was with the One M8 and the One E8, HTC is poised to introduce the One E9 as a toned down variant of the latest One M9. Now, consumers can learn more about the E9 after a Chinese telco company leaked out its specs online.
The leak revealed that the One E9 is to feature a large 5.5” display that operates on QHD 1440p resolution. This is powered by a 2GHz processor that is paired to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Other specs include a microSD card slot and a 20MP rear camera.
While it all sounds too real to ignore, there is also the chance for the leaked device to not be the E9. This is due to the large display which has yet to be a feature on the E-series. Some analysts revealed that the leaked specs are actually for the E9 Plus, which is the larger variant of the original E9.
It is too early to make confirmations yet so it is best to take the above with a pinch of salt. We can expect more spills from HTC in the coming weeks.
