Earlier this month, HTC made a big announcement that it will be rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update earlier this week. Apparently, the update failed to show up but HTC came out with a new promise that the latest OS will be sent out tomorrow.
The Taiwanese tech-giant claims that they faced an unexpected delay with the previous roll out date but confirms that the Lollipop update will be available on Friday. Even with the delay, HTC will still be the fastest manufacturer to give out the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
On the downside of things, the update will be only for the Google Play Edition of the HTC One M8 and M7. Regardless, the update will soon reach out to HTC’s devices before users know it. The company revealed that the normal M8 and M7’s Lollipop is currently in its Evaluation Stage.
