The truth is that we do not know anything about the upcoming Nexus smartphone right now. Most of what we have heard were all rumors and speculation including this latest set of information.
Android Police reported that the upcoming Nexus smartphone will be coming from HTC this year and that the lowest range model is now codename Sailfish. It is believed that lowest spec model will be coming in with a 5inch display screen and that it will be running on a Quad Core 2.0GHz 64bit processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
It is believed that the device will be fitted with a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera and will be powered by a 2770mAh battery. We should also see it coming with a fingerprint sensor and a USB-C port.
It was previously speculated that we might be seeing three Nexus smartphones this year. Two from HTC and another one from Huawei. Hopefully, more details will be reveal soon.
