The HTC One M8 has been the centre of attention in the world of smartphone.
However, HTC will not stop there as it looks to fight in the mid-range smartphone segment as well.
Back in MWC earlier this year, the Taiwanese manufacturer revealed a wide array of devices in its plans and the most sought after is the Desire 816. This mid-range device is now nearing its release as more information has surfaced on it.
The Desire 816 is revealed to run on the 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.5GB RAM, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter. Also, there is a huge 5.5” display that offers 720p resolution. For a lower-end device, the Desire 816 is certainly overpowered.
Things get sweeter as the upcoming smartphone has a small price tag despite its big offering. The Desire 816 will be selling at MYR1199. There is no doubt that the smartphone will be a hot seller when it arrives in early June.
