Samsung smartphone users are in for some great news. Now, there is a way to unlock your Galaxy Note 3 or Galaxy S4 smartphone for free. This is after the unlocking codes got leaked on the internet.
Unless you are aware, getting a smartphone from a carrier will often lock the device. This means that users can’t insert a SIM card that is not from the carrier which sold the phone. This is a hassle as users will find it hard to sell their device.
So if you’ve decided to proceed with the unlocking for the Note3 and S4, then simply follow the instructions below.
1. Insert the new SIM card on your Galaxy Note 2 or Galaxy S4.
2. Switch your device off and then back on again.
3. Go to the dialpad on your phone and type in *#197328640#.
4. Then choose [1] UMTS > [1] Debug Screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] Network Lock > Options [3] Perso SHA256 OFF.
5. Wait for around 30 seconds before going back into your main menu by selecting back.
6. On the main menu, you should see “Network Lock” now choose [4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ
There you have it, the unlock codes for the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S4. Heck, it is known to work on other Samsung smartphones as well. Better apply them quickly as a simple update can deem the codes useless.
