It looks like the Honda Accord and the Honda CR-V will also be getting downsized as Honda announced that both these models will come running on the downsized turbo petrol engine.
The same engine was also used to power up the Honda Civic model. That means both these models will come running on the 1.5 liters turbocharged engine that will be delivering about 174hp.
Not only did Honda revealed that they will be offering the Honda Accord and Honda CR-V with the turbo engine but they also announce that they will be offering an all-new plug-in hybrid model in North America and added that a PHEV version will follow soon after.
This is all part of Honda’s plan to have at least two third of their sales comes from electric powered models by 2030. That will include, FCV, EV, plug-in hybrid and hybrid models.
