Holden is looking to end the Holden Commodore but unlike the Mitsubishi Lancer, the Holden Commodore will be going in style, Corvette style.
It is said that Holden has plans to release an exclusive limited-edition final Holden Commodore. Codenamed LS9, the final special edition Holden Commodore will be fitted with the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 engine.
That means it should be delivering about 600hp thanks to the supercharged V8 engine. The engine will come mated to a manual transmission.
Due the limited supply of the engine, the final version of the Holden Commodore should also be offered as a limited edition model which means there won’t be enough to go around. It is estimated that the Holden Commodore will be coming in with a $120,000 price tag.
The final Holden Commodore should be arriving next year. At least it gets to go out with style.
