Like every other gaming event, the fans are hoping for Valve to make the slightest of announcement on Half Life 3. E3 is considered to be the biggest gaming event in a calendar year and it came as a shocker that Valve is going to be an absentee.
Some fans refused to be let down by this and hoped that Valve will make a surprise entry with many possible plots being thought of. On the other hand, most fans manage to swallow the bitterness and stayed positive that Valve might need a bigger stage than E3 to announce Half Life 3.
It seems that the game developer has some sort of phobia for the number 3. With the many rumours on the Source 2 game engine and the Steam consoles, the fans believe that Half Life 3 will only be announced once they are out. Of course, there is no telling on when that may happen.
All in all, the wait is expected to get much longer than it already is. For a decade the fans have waited for Half Life 3 and there is still no sign of the game coming. Despite that fact, it is best for the fans to keep an eye on E3 as there might just be some surprises in store for them.
