After going through more than a decade of wait, it is only appropriate to describe the Half Life community as the most patient people around. Now it seems that the wait is about to pay off.
Just yesterday, Valve showed the first sign of cracking up on Half Life 3. This happened when Gabe Newell went on an interview and found himself trapped with a question on the highly anticipated title.
Gabe managed to keep calm and answered the question accordingly. The co-founder of Valve and the brains behind the Half Life series started off by claiming that he was surprised with the strong anticipation for Half Life 3.
Gabe then took no time to reveal the bad news and it is that Half Life 3 is not in development at the moment. Gabe then concluded by saying that Half Life 3 won’t be coming anytime soon.
While this may sound disappointing, there is one positive that can be taken from the statements and it is that Gabe didn’t deny Half Life 3’s coming. In other words, Half Life 3’s arrival is imminent but it also means more wait for the Half Life fans.
