We won’t be surprised if many of you have not heard about 499KR. This is because it is a Swedish-based online retailer that is, in a way, similar to Amazon. The website caught the attention of many Half Life fans after it added Half Life 3 to its inventory.
The Half Life 3 ad came with a cited date of 31 December this year but fans should not take it literally. Like other similar cases before this, the Half Life 3 ad is obviously nothing more than a placeholder pending for confirmation by Valve.
Now, one might wonder on why the retailer suddenly opted to offer Half Life 3 on its website? The likeliest explanation is that 499KR is tapping on the popularity of Half Life 3 to pull more traffic on its website.
