Half Life 3: Steam Leak Guilty For Causing Disappointment

Half Life fans were all hoping for the recent E3 event to be the place where Half Life 3 is going to get confirmed for production by Valve. However, things didn’t turn out as expected and the culprit here is with the leak on Steam.

Earlier this year, Valve updated Steam and it saw the addition of the App 323900. The thing is that the app is being paired to Half Life 3’s logo. Since Half Life and Valve are both developed by Valve, it strongly suggests that Half Life 3 is being developed in secrecy.

Then again, the absence of Half Life 3 at E3 suggests that the leak was nothing more than a hoax. This is further supported by an insider from Valve who claims that an employee attempted to be funny an inserted a fan-made Half Life 3 logo on the app.

Well, the damage has already been done and the fans are thoroughly hurt by it. Thankfully, there is Fallout 4’s confirmation which somehow managed to ease some pain.
