If what the fans claim is true, then it will be interesting to see how Half Life 3 will show off the power of Source 2. Like many other AAA games, perhaps Valve might give Half Life 3 a more open world approach.
Knowing the game developer, Half Life 3 will start with a prologue that is packed with intensity. Players might be placed in a helicopter mission where they pilot a gunner heading towards Borealis. From the sky, players will get to experience the exhilarating graphics as they gaze on the horizon which is well detailed.
On top of that, the in-game UI will be fully functional like a mini-map or a compass to show the direction of the objective.
While flying, the player might encounter some enemies and will get shot down from the sky. Having such a scene will demonstrate the power of the Source 2 engine. Of course, Gordon Freeman will survive the crash.
All in all, there is a great deal of excitement for Half Life 3 and Source 2’s capabilities. All that is left is for Valve to make the right calls and end the torment of the fans.
