When it comes to Half Life 3 things have been stagnant and Valve has kept gamers waiting for around a decade. Half Life does need the release of a third instalment there is no doubt about that and many fans say that the game is being developed.
But why haven’t Valve launched Half Life 3 yet? Well there are numerous reasons why it could have been held back.
Maybe Valve want to start from the beginning with Half Life 3 and do away with the episodic content.
Perhaps the storyline needs a re-write?
Valve could be working on a new Source engine so as to keep up with the next gen consoles.
Perhaps Valve has been working on games such as Left 4 Dead, Portal and Dota.
Valve could be feeling a lot of pressure and want to deliver something brilliant and big with Half Life 3, this could take time.
Fans of the series will have to remain patient for a while longer, when Half Life 3 does come out it is sure to be worth the wait.
