Just what is talking so long with Half Life 3? This is what gamers waiting for the game want to know. It was pointed out that it could be taking so long to make its way out due to the fact that there are many FPS games out on the market already and that multi-player gaming is very popular.
Perhaps Valve has therefore given the multi-player game some thought and they could be adding this into the game. This way they would be able to compete against games that have multi-player in them.
Of course as Valve have had a great deal of success with games they have put on the market already, they are not likely to be putting a lot of effort into turning Half Life 3 into a multi-player game, are they?
The long wait could be just down to the fact that Valve likes to release games that are high quality and this could be what is taking them so long. They will want to polish the game to perfection instead of rushing to get it out. They could also have more than one project on the go of course.
