Half Life 3 Release & Valve’s Own Steam Box Console

It is already expected that Half Life 3 is in active development for some time now. Leaks have shown that Valve had assigned two groups of developers to work on the game thanks to the Jira database incident. However Half Life 3 has not been officially announced yet so there isn’t much else to go on.

It has already been 10 years since Half Life 2 was released. It might take some more time before Half Life 3 will be released since Valve is still in the midst of developing the game. The developers have supposedly not produced anything major yet. In fact, rumors suggest that the development of Half Life 3 might be slowed down due to the amount of resources that Valve is putting on the Steam Machines, controller and SteamOS. There are also rumors going around that say Valve might be testing Half Life 3 on Steam Machines.

However, given the slow progress of the Half Life 3 game, it might not be ready in time to be released with the Steam Box and be the first game to be released on Valve’s very own gaming console. With the information about Half Life 3 development right now, we are expecting the game would be release in a few years time only.

For those who have been waiting for Half Life, don’t get discontent by the speculations that Half Life 3 would only be ready in a few years. Valve have been seen to make surprise releases of their other games before. It might happen with Half Life 3, but only time can tell.

Meanwhile, just keep your fingers crossed and hope that Half Life 3 will be released sooner rather than later.
