On GamingBolt it is stated that Valve Software have two great teams working on Half Life 3. One thing that has been asked a lot by many people is when the release date for the game will be announced.
It’s looking like we’re going to have to wait a very long time for Half Life 3 seeing as Valve is reported go announcing that only “bits & pieces” of the game were being developed at this stage. In laments term, nothing amazing is being developed yet and it will happen very slowly as you have to take into account a massive number of resources are being dedicated to Valve’s Steam Controller, Steam Machines and SteamOS.
Valve could be researching Steam Machines to find out if Half Life 3 is going to be able to be a far more exclusive title for the same. The game will no doubt be released on the PC and the next thing we want to know is will this star in the making a timed exclusive for the Steam Box?
As these are all the details available to us, it will probably take two or three more years till something more definite is heard. Don’t be to shocked though, if Valve do a surprise release for the Half Life 3 as they did just that for its predecessor.
