It is never easy for Half Life fans as they have been deprived from any information involving the development of Half Life 3. As a matter of fact, Half Life fans have waited more than 10 years already and there is still no word on Half Life 3 by the game developer, Valve.
Regardless, the Hal Life community believes that Half Life 3 will start with Alyx, grieving on her deceased father. She will then rendezvous with both the protagonist and the G-Man as they plot to end the war with the Combine once and for all.
Speaking of which, the enemy alien race has acquired the Borealis and they are hoping to get the weapon of mass destruction to work. Of course, the Combine will eventually be stopped by the protagonist and it will also result in the destruction of the Borealis. Following that, the Combine will see no use for the war and result in a full retreat.
This is the plot that is for certain to happen after fans discussed on it throughout their wait for Half Life 3. The plot was developed with Half Life 2’s ending in mind and was also opted for the fan-made Half Life film. Now, all that is left is for Valve to produce Half Life 3 and end the suffering of the fans.
