It might not be official but the statements made by Counter Strike co-creator, Minh Le, simply seal the fact that both Half Life 3 and Left 4 Dead3 are currently on the development table.
Looking back at what Minh Le said during an interview some months ago, the lad confirmed that he will be leading the production of Left 4 Dead 3. Minh He claims that he saw the concept artwork of the game and found it very similar to the concept art for Half Life 3.
The developer than gave off a cheeky smile after mentioning Half Life 3 and tried to cool things down by suggesting that the fans are already aware ahead of time that the highly anticipate game is already being developed by Valve.
Judging by what Minh said on the interview, it seems that the concept art for Half Life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3 are developed at the same time. The only possible explanation for this is that both games are to run on the new Source game engine.
With that being said, Valve could be producing Half Life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3 side-by-side. This hints on both titles to share the same launch date in the future. Unfortunately, there is no telling on when that will happen.
