For more than a decade already, Half Life fans have been waiting for Half Life 3 but there is still no official sign of the game coming. Regardless, many leaks are suggesting that Half Life 3 is already in production and it is going to get announced at E3 this year.
For Gabe Newell, he keeps on reiterating that Half Life 3 is not in production and fans should not hope for it. In a recent podcast, Gabe touched on the Half Life 3 subject by claiming that it is still not in Valveās plans.
The co-founder of Valve also shared that the only way to see Half Life 3 getting produced is if everyone within the company agrees to develop it and with a good reason why. Gabe concluded by saying that Valve only wishes to move forward and not linger in the past.
By this, it is pretty obvious that Gabe is telling the entire Half Life community to move on. However, for the fans, they have given Valve a huge reason to why the company should produce Half Life 3 and that is profits.
