Half Life fans have tried everything in their power to get Valve to produce Half Life 3 but they have failed on every attempt. Now, the wait for Half Life 3 has passed the decade mark and fans of the game are piling up conspiracy theories.
It is understood that the Half Life community believe that conspiracy theories are the only way to get Valve to produce Half Life 3. This is evident if one is to look at how Portal 2 was announced. Apparently, the confirmation for Portal 2 was made after a player discovered its Easter egg in an ARG.
This basically shows that Valve prefers to announce things in a fun way. In Half Life 3’s case, the fans believe that if they are able to pull off the right conspiracy theory, then Valve will come out to confirm it accordingly.
After being put to more than ten years of wait, fans have nothing to lose, thus, explaining why they are flooding the gaming network with conspiracy theories. While this might sound ridiculous, there is a chance for the Half Life community to be right.
