If you’re a Half Life fan, then we have got some serious bad news for you. The highly anticipated sequel, Half Life 3, has apparently been cancelled from production due to Valve losing every interest with the series.
In detail, a spokesperson from Valve revealed earlier today that the game developer really appreciates the support shown by the fans for Half Life 3. Unfortunately, Half Life 3 has been cancelled from its stalling production so that Valve can fully focus on other mega-projects.
It seems that the Half Life 3 subject has been bothering Valve and put them on pressure to deliver. Having kept the fans waiting for more than a decade already, Valve felt the pressure to create a massive game in Half Life 3. To make things more difficult for the game developer, Valve no longer interested in the Half Life series.
Of course, Half Life fans should not be let down by this since they have always been resilient in the wait of Half Life 3. Who knows? Maybe Valve might find interest in the Half Life series somewhere far into the future. Besides this is just another April fool joke and we hope you don’t take it to the heart.
