It has been a decade already since Half Life 2 got released and there is still no sign of Half Life 3 around. The fans are clearly frustrated by this and have hence made an attempt to force announcement out from Valve through creating conspiracy theories.
While this may sound ridiculous to non-Half Life fans, the Half Life community has got nothing to lose in their attempt. As a matter of fact, they are actually inspired by Portal 2’s announcement.
In detail, a Portal fan discovered Portal 2 appearing in an ARG title as an Easter egg. He then wrote a conspiracy about it and surprisingly, Valve acknowledged it to be true. The entire Half Life community was moved by this and has hence been writing conspiracy theories on Half Life 3.
The Half Life fans believe that if they got a conspiracy theory spot on, then Valve will confirm on Half Life 3’s production. It might not work for the Half Life fans but gamers have got to respect the passion shown by the community.
