Portal 2 has finally been announced by Valve and it created a huge ruckus in the gaming industry. This is because Valve confirmed Portal 2’s production after a conspiracy theory became spot on and went viral.
In detail, a Portal fan discovered an Easter egg that symbolized Portal 2 in an ARG title. The lad wrote about his findings and turned it into a conspiracy theory. Apparently, the theory is spot on and it got Valve to confirm on Portal 2’s development.
While this may be an unorthodox way of announcing a future title, Half Life fans got excited by it. They have since been spamming forums with conspiracy theories on Half Life 3 in hope for one of them to come true, thus, forcing Valve to finally announce on the highly anticipated game.
Of course, this might sound ridiculous to non-Half Life fans but the entire Half Life community are content with their method. After waiting more than a decade for Half Life 3, the Half Life fans simply don’t have anything to lose.
