Despite that fact, it didn’t stop the fans from anticipating the third sequel. One die-hard fan, tgkennedy, even went as far as listing what he wishes to see in Half Life 3.
For starters, the lad wishes to have a Borealis-exclusive level where players will be put in the cramp hallways of the ship while being hunted down by the combine.
Then there is that horror element which is a compulsory addition to the great game. Fans have seen it before with the Ravenholm in previous Half Life titles. Perhaps, Valve could add in an underwater pipe system where the player gets chased by the Itchyousarus.
Tgkennedy added that some enemies of the past should also come back to Half Life 3. The X Race in particular is a great challenge and should make a return.
Of course, there are other demands which include the answers to the unanswered, the return of Xen Homeworld, an enemy that is as strong as Gordon Freeman and many new enemy characters from the Combine faction.
All in all, the ideas by TGKennedy have the strong support of the Half Life community. While there is no way to tell if Half Life 3 is in development or not, fans kept things positive on their end.
