GTA has been THE hit for Rockstar and the fifth episode has been amazing. Almost a year after its release, though, the fans are wondering what’s going to come after it.
All the GTA games have been set in the USA, mainly because Rockstar likes to mock the pop culture there.
Some fans have, however, wondered if it’s a possibility for the GTA 6 to leave the States and head off to cause chaos elsewhere.
Asia isn’t likely, as Sleeping Dogs has already been there, done it and is sporting the t-shirt. Eastern Europe is a bit too niche in terms of culture and would make the game a bit inaccessible for many. London, however, would appeal to most people. It’s a well-known place, everyone knows the culture and although you don’t see guns on every corner, you know they’re there.
GTA 5 came with the biggest map to date and because GTA 6 will be played on the Xbox One and the PS4, the map will be even more mega. As it’s only a train ride away, the action could quite easily move to Paris and back.
Some players reckon Rockstar will keep things stateside, though. GTA 4 was in New York, GTA 5 is in San Andreas so GTA 6 could wind up in Vice City, or maybe Orlando.
Wherever it ends up, GTA 6 is going to be one of the biggest gaming events of (probably) next year.
