GTA 5 is currently the best video game around but the fans are already looking forward to GTA 6. While Rockstar has yet to reveal anything on the next sequel, the first concrete clue on GTA 6 has already been identified.
The clue says that GTA 6 is going to be set in the same year which it will be released on. This is evident if fans are to check out previous GTA titles. One clear example is GTA 3, which was released back in 2001 while also being set in the same year. The latest title, GTA 5, was released back in 2013 and the plot also takes place at the same time.
While not official, this basically confirms that GTA 6 is going to be up-to-date with its offerings so fans don’t have to worry about going back in time with the future sequel. Of course, GTA 6 is not expected at least until 2018 or so.
