It has been about a year since GTA 5 got released. Despite that fact, GTA 5 is still considered as one of the most played games around. This is due to Rockstar, which keeps the game alive by consistently adding new contents into the vast world of San Andreas.
On the down side of things, there has yet to be a post-apocalyptic-themed content coming to the game. Months ago, fans agreed that they hope to see a DLC about zombies and the desire to go to war with the undead remains strong today.
Well, this may look like happening soon as a hacker discovered a file in the game titled ‘main_ZMB’. The file was believed to be added in the last update and it appears to be a placeholder for a future content. If everything is to be in place, GTA 5 could be seeing a zombie apocalypse in the next update or so.
Rockstar is not a stranger to zombie contents as they have produced an awesome one for their other title, Red Dead Redemption. Fans couldn’t get enough of it and are hoping for one on GTA 5.
Meanwhile, GTA 5 gamers can head down to GTA Online and try out the fan-made zombie mission. It might not be super awesome but it still managed to offer a thrilling experience. The fan which created this feat utilized the content creator, which explains why the mode is lacklustre.
